It has been an incredible summer at NPC! It was a summer filled with unforgettable moments. I will never forget worshiping in Willy Wonka’s factory, a Color War that couldn’t be washed out, and an invoice with continual suggestions for additions (if you know, you know).
As the summer comes to a close, I hope we will hold on to all of these memories. However, I hope we will embrace a spirit of continual encouragement and sacrifice. We have a lot of students who started school Monday and Tuesday. For some, this is a long awaited time to be back with their friends. For others, going back to school is filled with anxiety and uncertainty. As a church, we need to intercede for these students through prayer, encourage them to continue their discipleship with Jesus, and let them know we are always there for them.
To our students: you belong to a Christian community that loves you, will sacrifice for you, and will always be there for you. Remember that regardless of how difficult being a disciple of Jesus can become, Jesus is always calling you to Him, to guide and comfort you. NPC loves you!
